The standard search-engine syntax is supported:
- Boolean operators AND and OR can be used to combine terms
- By adding a +, a term can be made required
- By adding a -, a term can be excluded from the results
- By quoting terms, you can ensure the whole string must match
In addition, the following fields can be searched by specifying the field name and a colon, e.g. site:nytimes will search for results from the nytimes.com domain.
- title: The title provided by the original site
- caption: The caption provided by the original site
- description: The description provided by the original site
- summary: The summary written by Hasnain
- source_url: The full source url
- site: The original source website
